My 2011 2.4 L Terrain's reverse lights are on in park, car stalled the other day and daughter had a hard time getting in park so she got her super powers involved and I belive she misalighned the NSS forcing gearshift into park.Is this located on the steering colum like the old GM's or on the trans or ??

it's on the trans. where the shift cable connects to it. Transmission position sensor/switch . It signals the TCM to signal the BCM to turn the lights on. Not simple anymore.
