Possibly if you pressed the Auto button before you shut the vehicle off then the AC would come on full if the inside temperature required it.

 

I can't speak to the mobile app, but remote start requires AC to have been on when you powered off the vehicle. Perhaps you could test the AUTO feature, as suggested, and let us know how that worked out?

 

It was 30c/86f today and my 2016 Nox sat outside. I use "auto" mode almost 100% of the time and can confirm that when I remote started the vehicle, using the button on the key fob the AC came on full blast. I then turned the car off and used the RemoteLink app to start it again. The AC again came on full blast.

 

No other way than to dial up the knobs all the way up before shutting down. From what it looks like it'll only remember where your last setting was on.

so I do indeed have to leave it on a preset fashion-- when I turn off-- so that it does its thing on remote start

 

Check the "Air Conditioning Mode" in the Personalization section. I don't think you can sync it with Remote Start, but setting this to "ON" will turn on A/C whenever the car is started.

 

My 13 Nox AC comes on full blast when starting with remote, unless it's not that hot out. Actually it does the same as if I start it with the key. I almost always have it on Auto.
