Wood Dash Trim

Anyone install a wood dash trim kit in a 2010 or 2011 Equinox? I've seen a few pics online of one installed with the two tone Brownstone (I have Titanium) and I thought it really looked good. Very classy and not cheesy looking at all. Pictures would be great!

Opinions?

Bad thing about the kits I've seen..is that the very high gloss finish gives them a plastic look.
Would look alot nicer with only a satin sheen.
I had one on my VUE and installed one on my Nox. Came out great and all I get is complinments. I used Medium Burl. I have posted pictures in prior posts. Stick with B and I kits .. They do not require any prep sol. All you have to do is clean areas with rubbing alcohol and place on the area. Some of the pieces can be a little tricky. They have real wood kits available but they are expensive and the wood my have variations. I did wish they had pieces for the upper lights.

I looked through all 18 pages of your postings and could not find, can you direct me?
Some of these kits go overboard covering EVERYTHING in wood. I would probably throw out half the pieces and just install it in the spots that class up the interior without making it look gaudy.

Also the B & I site has pictures that some posted the link to. Someone the other day was checking my nox and wanted to sit in it and couldn't believe how nice the dash looked. I told him it was a dash kit. It makes the interior look very nice. Again .. To each his (or her) own.

THX for the link. I think the titanium interior makes the wood trim look even better, not sure how the same trim would look with my brown interrior...

How much did you spend?

I believe the B&I site shows it with the brown. Cost me $184 shipped
Thanks for the link. I think the wood trim looks great!
I have a 2010 lt mocha steel and I also installed a dash kit.It is silver carbon fibre which off sets all the black.I have had good reviews from anyone that sees it.Gives interior a high end look.It had to much black imo.

Can you post a picture??
I have the new nox ltz 2011. got the B&I dash kit and it looks beautiful. It never crossed my mind that it looks "plastic". Now, i'm looking for the steering wheel. my interior is the black/brownstone.....had lots of trouble locating this interior, but well worth sticking to my guns for what I wanted. i used the natural birdseye from B & I. Usually, they have "cores" for the steering wheel and can send what you want and you send in the core from your original. Unfortunately, they dont have an existing "core" and want me to send mine.....cute, how would i use my vehicle in the mean time? any thoughts about the steering wheel would be helpful.
