When my ignition has been turned off and I have shut the door and walked away, there is a whirring sound
coming from the car for about two minutes. What causes this?

could be the fan on the radiator still going.

or the TB closing, quite a few things still operate after ignition is shut off....

I've noticed the same thing when the garage is quiet...I asked a service guy at the dealership about it and he told me what it was, but I have forgotten what he said.
