With the Equinox and Terrain, GM has designed two very different looking crossovers.

Which one do you prefer the look of, and what do you like about it?

Too early to tell for me. As of right now, I like them both.

I like both, but just cant get past the square fenders on the terrain, the nox looks alot like the traverse, which I really like the front end on. Cant wait to get my blue nox, should be here in a week or two. Already bought a E&G classics chrome mesh grille insert for it, will post pics when its here.

I thought about this the other day, the Equinox is the woman, the Terrain is the man, kind of like twins, very similar, but still very different.

But, I like them both equally, just don't call me bi please. :

I'm 100% for the GMC[/color] Terrain. While the Equinox is nice, when I saw it in person back in February ('09) at the Philadelphia Auto Show the only thing I liked about it was the deep red exterior color (called Merlot Metallic on the Terrain, not sure what 'Chevy' calls their same version). And same thing when I got to see the 'Nox again in June at the All-GM Nationals car show in Carlisle, PA - nice but not for me. I'm a diehard GMC Truck fan and almost always choose the GMC over the Chevy truck offering. And I too think the Chevy is for the feminine buyer and the GMC for the more masculine buyer (most women I know like the 'Nox, whereas most men prefer the Terrain).

I def like the terrain look better more like a truck , at first I wasnt crazy about the squared off wheel wells but it grew on me me so much so that I ordered one. ;D

I like the Terrain, but then again I also like the look of the Honda Element... so I may not be the best judge.

We purchased the I4 terrain after researching and driving the Equinox. i like the Terrain.

I like the Equinox Better,It has a nicer looking front on it.
Not that I dont like the Tarrain,It is also nice.

My choice would be the Equinox,I think the Terrain looks to square and bulky.
Just my opinion.But I actualy do like both of them

The Terrain!!! The Nox is too rounded and looks like every other crossover I see on the road

Before either of them came out I liked the terrain. After putting more thought into it and seeing more pictures the fender flares of the terrain seemed way too exaggerated. The front fender is just one big fender flare. So I chose the Nox. There are details that I like on both of them and dislike on both of them but overall the Nox got my money.

What's Wrong with that? I traded my beloved Honda Toaster in for my Terrain. I loved that silver box. My vote is the Terrain. The Nox looks like an SUV trying to morph into a mini van.....

Just the opposite for me. I prefer the overall look of the Nox to the Terrain...but I think the Terrain rear end (as well as the 05-09 first gen Nox) looks better. To me the rear of the Nox reminds me of a larger and taller Mini Cooper. :-[

For what it's worth, I don't "love" the back of Equinox either, it looks too much like HHR, but when given the option between the 2 I still prefer the Equinox.

Oh and since we are mentioning backs, what the hell did Chevy do with back of Traverse...OMG...back of Acadia is so much better.

I didn't like the fenders or the front end on the terrain, so went with the Nox.

The newly designed Equinox is gorgeous, classy looking. The Terrain is more truck-like and different--with attitude. Sooo, because I chose Terrain, my vote is for Terrain.
