Which color interior?

Hoping to order a Terrain soon. But.... I was wondering everyones opinion on color. I think I would really like the Carbon Black although Onyx is on my list. I was wondering in terms of the Carbon black the best interior color. I like the Jet Black interior but the Carbon exterior appears to lean more towards a charcoal color. So I wonder if the Light titanium interior would be more appropriate with the two colors. (The lighter grey, and black) opposed to having a solid black interior. Please let me know what you think. Carbon Black exterior with Light titanium interior or Jet black interior? I added a poll at the top of the page but feel free to elaborate in a message. Thanks.

Is the Light titanium light gray and black or light gray and dark gray?

I like the Onyx black, but leaning towards the Carbon Black. I have a 05 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Brilliant Black Crystal Pearlcoat which I really like the metallic flakes. But when I looked at the Carbon black in person it looks more like a charcoal am I right?
I have the light titanium and prefer that to the jet black as the two tones give a real nice "upscale" look to the interior. It is black with a light grey (i consider the dash almost a beige). I originally test drove a Nox with the black interior and wasn't blown away, but we I found a Terrain with the two tone light titanium, it looked 10 times better. Of course it depends on the exterior colour. Have the Mocha Steel, so the Light titanium looks good with that.
I have the carbon metallic / jet black combo. The exterior paint is beautiful on sunny days, if the car is clean that is. Definitely worth the $195 premium.

I would have gone with the light titanium if it wasn't so light. It's almost white which I didn't want. The jet black on the seats is pretty dark - not sure if I'd call it charcoal, maybe a little.

We have the carbon black paint with the jet black leather and red stitching.
We got it off the lot so there was no choosing, but we love it.
The carbon black has a lot of metallic in it, so it really reflects whatever colour the surroundings are when it's nice and clean.
The dealer had an onyx black on the lot but I don't remember the interior.
We didn't look at it too much since we preferred the carbon and the onyx on the lot didn't have the Infotainment center, NAV or rear displays.
It was definitely "blacker", IMO from what I remember.
We've got an SLT-1 Merlot on order. Got the titanium leather. Liked the contrast inside of the two tone seating. Saw a few other vehicles with the brown and the black interiors. Titanium suited us best. I would have liked to see a medium gray or tan interior as well. The brown was too brown and the black too dark for us. Titanium was the compromise. I do worry that the titanium may show wear and dirt a little more than I prefer.
I had Titanium on my Acadia. Wanted black but the fully loaded one that I wanted was stuck in production limbo. They found one in CT via Troy,NY but it had Titanium leather.

I will never do it again. Showed everything and a byotch to keep clean.
Also, the black with red stitiching is SWEET. Very sharp looking. Most people comment on it.

byotch... I think my brother married her.
Yeah, she gets around.

What was her name, "Sidewalk", cuz she's "all around town"?
:)

Very nice touch, seems like quality material to boot.

Same thing on the brownstone. Get tons of comments about how nice the seats and the stitching are.
Yes, we were first looking at a Mocha Nox with the brownstone interior until we ran into the carbon black Terrain.
Very nice tones with the red stitching contrast.

Wife wanted black (be it Nox or Terrain), I warned her about keeping it clean!
Well guess who's keeping it clean?
Not her, lmao!

Back on topic, if you're concerned about looks over the years, the darker seats may be your best option.
NY_Joe speaks from personal experience and I'd tend to agree since we had a Bonneville with light grey leather and even it showed dirt more than we'd expected:

^^ from the looks of your picture, your driver's seat outer cushion seems to be developing the same wrinkles as mine. This is my first vehicle with leather and the fact that the wrinkles have appeared so soon has been bothering me.

Can't wait to check out the Terrain display model at the Toronto Auto Show next month. With thousands of people getting in and out over the course of the show, it should be a good analog for what I should expect wear-wise over the long term.
Yes, I definitely will be conditioning the leather just as I do with all of my leather furniture at home.

LOL @ the seat 'molding' to your posterior. I am finding the same thing with mine. The outer, non perforated portion of the seats is quite soft so I can see where it's prone to becoming wrinkled. At least there will be no mistaking it for vinyl.

Actually, I just pulled that pic off the web to show the two tone brown interior.
We have jet black leather, but yes, we are getting the same wrinkles as the picture above.
As SnowItch says, not much you can do about it except care for it regularly.

My wife did mention that losing a little weight might help. She's very helpful that way...
lol, as long as you're not returning that favour...

I suppose I could benefit from working toward 'narrowing' my a$$ a bit too.
Changing the topic from your arse, the leather quality actually has gotten better.

MY 2 Envoys were horrible. after 2 yrs it looked like the face of an 80 yr old grandma.

The Acadia was a little better over 3 yrs but the Titanium color was the wrong choice to offer in a family vehicle.

Nothing to report on the Terrain yet.
