Was looking at the fog lights on my vehicle thinking about putting led strip lights along side them. I noticed that just above the round fog light in the chrome encloser there is a little thing that looks like a sensor or something above both lights. anyone know what these are?

IIRC, Its just a black plastic filler piece...

And if you look real close, in the bottom grove of that plastic filler is a small "lens" sitting back inside..
Black plastic doesn't look like a sensor to me..

On a 2011 it looks like a Torqx screw head to me. Is that what you are seeing? It is right at 12 o'clock right above the chrome ring.

must be but to me it looks like clear plastic ill have to take a magnifying glass and look
