I'm just curious, Was it a toss up or was there something you really liked about the Terrain rather than the Equinox?

Well..since they are practically the same under the skin...wouldn't you think that it must be the styling of one over the other..?

Styling and the SLE-2 package had everything I wanted, with the Equinox I would have had to move up to LTZ trim.

First and foremost my wife liked the looks of the Terrain.
SLT-2 package and got a much better deal from the dealer I purchased my last 5 Buick's from; I know them and they know me----------been in the same location for over 30 years and only 10 Min's from my home.
When you take the LTZ add the sun roof and 18 inch wheels to make it equal to the SLT-2 the two are about dinner for two at a good restaurant difference in cost.
