I purchased my 2011 Terrain mid March, needless to say I was surprised and irritated my wiper fluid was empty after maybe 5 uses. Should I be concerned or is it possible they didn't fill it much before I bought it?

It holds about 1 complete gallon in there so... You have the choice... maybe you were more trigger happy with it than you think... or maybe they havnt filled it up when you purchased it.

ya take it back lemon law it shouldn't use fluid. good thing you only used the front washers you'd have been dry on your first use

I sure wouldn't rely on what the dealer puts in a car. I didn't even get a full tank of gas. Don't remember if I ever got a full tank from any dealer ever. One time back in the 70's, a SAAB salesman told me to stop at the gas station a block away to fill up and he hoped there was enough to get me there. ;D

Did you check the drain plug to see if it was there?? :hilarious:

I used it maybe three times on the front and once in the back just to test that out. Next time I used it on the front it sprayed for a half second then sputtered out. I haven't seen any leaks in my driveway but I'm not sure if washer fluid would show up anyway after evaporating.

My dealer was so good that he offered o give me an extra gallon of washer fluid, but then when he realized that it wouldn't fit in the cubby in the back compartment, he reneged on the offer.

;D That was funny, I almost shot washer fluid out my nose when I read it.

I think they did not fill it up, or you have a leak.

Honestly the tank size on this thing is way undersized given the volume of the washers and the fact there is three of them. I've NEVER refilled a vehicle as much as I have this thing over the winter LOL I cant wait to get the low washer fluid indicator hardware in this thing :\

My wife just ran out of washer fluid the other day and was kind of suprised there wasn't a light for it. All her other vehicles had a light, but they where a Nissan and Toyota which is probably why. She has been driving it since March of last year and just ran out so it shouldn't be a capacity problem unless you use a lot of it which I tend to do.
