Washed my Terrain for the first time

I really like my new Terrain. I washed it yesterday for the first time and I must say, I'm amazed at how you can "oil can" the roof with your wash mitt by simply putting a little pressure on it. That metal must be really thin to be that pliable. Just thought I'd point this out as it surprised me that it's much thinner than my Honda CR-V roof (which I traded in).

Hate to be 'that person' but, you should search your topic before posting. Both the roof thickness and fuel mileage discussions are already underway in different threads.
Terrain---thank you kindly. I'm sorry I have encroached on another thread. I will surely scour this fine forum to ensure I do not post anymore duplicates. Oh, and have a nice day!

No worries. If you feel that bad, you can come over and wash my Terrain for me... Just be gentle on the roof. ;D
/snicker.

I haven't noticed it yet but then again i have only used wand wash, i can only imagine how it would sound on the inside if i were to go through a brush less automatic wash lol.
Yikes!!! I always put up a CB antenna on the roof when we go to Florida. Is the roof to flimsy for a Magnetic mount CB antenna? I don't want to damage the roof or worse yet the car behind me with a flying antenna.
A antenna will be just fine on your roof. I certainly didn't intend to make it sound like it was "oil can" thin. It's just a bit less sturdy than I expected it to be.

Cool you scared me for a few hours :)
