Does anyone know what version is supported by the USB ports in an '18 Terrain? They all have a black inserts, which implies that they're 2.0. I think that Type C ports are always black regardless of version, so this question is mainly for the Type A ports. But the use of black for the inserts may have just been for cosmetic reasons. Though if they're 3.x, the blue insert would make them easier to find.

I don't have a real need for 3.x since I just use the USB for streaming audio. I'm just curious.

Usually a black connector is 2.0 and blue connector signals a 9 pin 3.0.
USB connectors are backwards compatible, meaning older versions will work with new versions.
But they will only work at their original speed.
If you want to go the other way, adapters are available.

See link below for a good article on USB ports.
