Hello,

I purchased my vehicle about 4 weeks ago past this Wednesday. I has already been in the shop for 4 days.

Got the vehicle back today and still having the same problem.

The problem initially:
- At higher speeds the vehicle would pull to the left, I literally would have to drive with the steering wheel on an angle.

Dealer fix:
WHEEL ALIGNMENT MEASUREMENT
ADJUST REAR TOE
ADJUST FRONT TOE
SET FRONT CAMBER ONE SIDE
FRONT BRAKE SHIELD REPLACEMENT - Problem #2 see bottom

The problem now:
- THE SAME THING, it even pulls at lover speeds 20-30mph!

I dove it away from the dealership on my way to work and noticed it, called right away have to take it back in on Monday again probably for another couple of days.

Has anybody else experienced this problem, know what it might be?
Oddly enough I had to complete a GM satisfaction survey that came in my email today, I guess I didnt rate them as good as expected, so I got a call from one of their customer service people and now have a case with them.

Its truly disappointing to have so this issue so early. :'(

Oh I forgot to mention when making a sharp left turn I could hear a metallic grinding noise, post them fixing it, now I hear a rubber-on-rubber squeaky kind of sound...the dealership said its because I take the turns to sharp almost doing donuts...but they will look at it on Monday

Have they checked for a bad tire. They should rotate them and see of pull direction changes.

Hey tsduke

Thanks for your reply.

Actually I got a call from GM customer service regarding the appointment I have tomorrow.
It appears they are going to be swapping the tires to see if that is the case, I hope so (fingers crossed).

Someone told me it might be the crowning in the road, since the highways are designed that way for run off water, but I highly doubt it as the crowning would cause that hard of a pull.

So hopefully it is just the tire.

Cheers,

If it does it on all roads I highly doubt it's crowning. Especially a left pull.

Yeah good point.
Well I took it in this morning at 7:30, they are still working on it so it seems according to the dealerships service website.
I haven't heard anything from the service yet. The service adviser said this morning, they will try to swap left/right tires and see if it still does it.

Hopefully I hear something soon.

Cheers,

Well I got the car back Wednesday drove it for a few days, problem is still there.
I drove with the service manager in my car prior to leaving the dealership.
It was still pulling I tried to show him the angle of the steering wheel but of course sitting in the passenger seat the angle makes it hard to see.
He drove the car as well, and attributed the left directional pull to the wind.
We did drive the car on a road that is mainly surrounded by fields as this was the only place to get it up close/over 60mph to experience the veer. But alas I took the car and am driving now
I noticed it is doing it at slower speeds now too now, and now I am noticing an annoying popping sound from somewhere around (maybe under) the engine, it happens at lower speeds, higher speeds, especially over bumps and turns...any ideas on that.... I think I'm giving up the left veer thing for a while, I mean the car is not just over a month old (June 25) and its already been at the dealership for 6 business days.
