V6, AWD.

Coming to 3,500 miles, which from reading the various posts here about switching to synthetic oil, seems to be in the region when folk switch.

Probably go with Pennzoil Platinum Full Synthetic & wondering how much I should get, & what filters people would use with that brand of oil?

There are several good filters out there. I use Mobil 1 5w30 in my Corvette along with a Mobil 1 filter. I'll use the same (Mobil 1 is Dexos approved btw) when I change the oil on my Equinox V6.

Only my opinion, but after much research I am going with Penzoil Platinum and Purolotor Pure One filter.

good choice.....either ac delco, wix, or pureone seems to be the best filters out there.....

At 3500 miles I used a Bosch oil filter because it was free with Penzoil Platinum. Normally I use WIX oil filters.
