Hi all,

I just upgraded my iPhone 3GS to IOS 4.0 and I can no longer play my ipod music from my iphone using the usb cable. 2010 Terrain with Navigation and with my 3GS the Ipod on my iphone worked....dealer didnt have a clue.

I can play using my AUX but it doent allow control of IPOD....

I am assuming this might need an upload of a patch for the NAV radio but this is my first expereince with this problem..
Any ideas?

I upgraded too and I can play music but I can't control playlists, albums, artists, etc. I can only listen to where it left off and that's it. Hopefully a system update gets sent to gmc dealers and it can be fixed soon.

I posted this in the tech forum as well but no one has replied. I upgraded my iPod Touch to the v4 firmware. Since then, playing All Songs (over 3000) is fine. However, if I try to load Albums or Artists, it sits there for a while and eventually loads. Takes about 2 minutes for Artists and about 5 for Albums to load. It's an annoyance to say the least, and wasn't a problem with the previous firmware. I'm hoping maybe there will be some sort of firmware update for the Audio System to fix.

I've had some issues where the nav system will hang when using my 3gs and os4.0 but it still works...

Simple solution : stop using apple product !!!

I have an iphone and i don't use it in my Terrain. I am using 2 16gb usb flash drive.

One for the new music i discover and the "hot" tunes of the moment so i don't have to search 2 hours to get the one i want.

And the other for my collection of ripped cds and others mp3s.

Works perfect... plus you will scrap your battery to always connect it that way...

Just my two cents

Wait... I have an iPod 30GB Classic, which I use in my '09 CTS -- complete control of all of that in the Nav system touchscreen AND on the audio controls on the steering wheel [Edit: Only scrolling forward or backward through the song list and volume control on the steering wheel]. The CTS has an adapter that has a USB connector and what looks like an audio jack at the other end of it which gets plugged in inside the center console. I will seriously hate it if I can't do that in the Terrain.
