I have a 2005 Equinox and the radio has stopped working.

I would like to keep everything clean (no aftermarket) but I would like to add the AUX outlet to utilize the iPod.

Does anyone know if a 2007 equinox radio will fit in my 2005? The sizes look close in pictures but possibly there is an expert out there who can answer this.

(I know the wiring is different but I have access to the plug for the swap - I am more interested if the swap will work?)

i couldnt find any definitive answer on this...ive been researching a good amount, and this is what happens when a car/truck/suv isnt moded often...not too much in the way of info......i'm planning on doing some upgrades myself come spring time (headunit, sub) both stock that ill be adding.....the sub i wan work out on my own, thats just signal.....but headunits may have different functions embedded in them...only way to tell is to do it yourself...
