Hello did you get this figured out ? I forgot to put mine in park and shut it off now it shows code P187E transmission valve stuck off

It looks like the OP is a one-and-done. They asked a question, but hasn't logged back in since the posting to look for any answers. So, unless anyone chimes in with a solution, I doubt that you'll be hearing about one from the OP.

Do you have the 6 speed or 9 speed transmission? What model year?
Does it still go in and out of park and drive normally?
If yes, reset the DTC's and hope it doesn't return.

I have the same problem and don’t know were to start

Well I had to take it to a dealer and ended up costing me 2500$ it ended up being so type of valve body inside the transmission. I guess it has some type of magnets that crack. It is a really stupid design to be honest

If you are still under warranty, let your dealer fix it.
