Hi ! Winter is coming and i am wondering if there is a way to disable the TMPS warning each time we start the vehicle... (i've rad on another thread that for the first miles the system will warn us and after a couple hundred miles the system will be de-activated... is that right ?)

I will not pay 200~300$ for sensors that will be about 3 months a year on the vehicle...

A friend of mine have a Pontiac Grand Prix around 2008... 2009... not sure about the exact year... and he can do a thing that the car will not warn each time he start the car...

GM customer service or anybody that can help me would be greatly appreciated !

I am driving a GMC Terrain SLT2 V6 AWD 2010 w/o NAV.

Thank you all !

I know on the trucks guys would throw them in the spare tire and leave them there year round. :D

Not sure if it would work for our vehicles.

I figured as much but hey, its a suggestion. You can delete them out of your summer wheels and just actually use a tire gauge every now and then.
