I only had one of these for a long time and used it as a 'master' gauge. I kept comparing other
pen type and digital types to it. Most of the pencil types are off some; I've had digital ones that were off by a couple of
pounds as well.
I still keep a pencil type that's pretty close in the Terrain glove box. With the pressure readings in the computer, it's not as
necessary as it was with previous vehicles. Still, those pressure monitors on GM cars/trucks aren't as accurate or consistent as
a stand alone gauge.
Get a good one or two and use them properly.
