Hi All... I'm new here and this is my 1st post..... Giving serious thought to buying a Terrain this week. Looking at a white SLE 2 with the 4cyl, heated seats, cargo package and 18 inch wheels. Any advise or info anyone might want to pass along?? Thanks....

Stop spending time on the internet and GO get your new Terrain. They are terrific vehicles! "That's all I have to say about that"

No complaints from the person that drives it at all. She loves how its big enough to take her and 3 friends without complaining from the back seat and the cargo room is decent enough.

Seriously, there is no other smallish CUV that is a better all around vehicle.

So LS3Vette, what other vehicles are in consideration?

I looked at the Nox, but I didn't like the rear side slanted window, though that wouldn't stop me from buying one. I really like the unique style of the Terrain. I would be happy to keep driving our 07 Buick LaCrosse, but the wife wants a suv and until the Terrain came out, nothing else caught my attention....

The main reason we got the Terrain, aside from the extra standard equipment, was the upright rear door. Getting in and out of the rear of the 'Nox is a little bit awkward for me and the wife hit her head on the slant and instantly crossed the 'Nox off the list. lol

I picked up my Terrain on Dec 1 and well I love it.
Getting 22 + mpg with mostly city driving but I did get 26 on the HWY the other day.
Love how quite it is, nice sounding radio, the nav is fun to play with, it rides great and even handles well.
Very stable at speed even with a cross wind.

To make your decision a bit easier, here is a tad bit of info.... I'm on my second Terrain as i've upgraded to a 2011 SLT-2. I haven't experienced any issues so far besides the GM bulletins for the seat belts & power steering. Just waiting to hear back from my dealership on that.

This is by far the the BEST truck/crossover that i've ever owned. IMO :)

With all the upgrades that GM has done it's been very rewarding!!!

Good Luck with your decision...

Get the power rear liftgate! I wasn't going to at first, but am sooooo glad that I did now.
The PRL came with my LTZ< and I thought to myself, I'll never use that - what a waste of money. BUT, it comes in handy so MANY times, and my kids are grown up. Don't know what it costs, but that and memory driver seat are two of my favorite options. Unfortunately, once you get them, you'll never buy another car without them.

Seems like that is the way it is with options - you will never want less !
