Did not see anyone post this yet. Maybe I am the first to notice. Today I looked at my taillight lens and what do you know. There is a Bowtie molded into the reflector inside the lens. looks better when lights are on because it is smooth.

Yeah I noticed this too. I read somewhere that OEM’s are doing this to stop aftermarket replacements. Because aftermarket manufactures cannot use the licensed logo in the products, forcing customers to OEM products. Kindda blows paying jacked up OEM prices, but the little bowtie’s look great in the lens!

After seeing this post I just had to walk into the darkened garage, click my Nox unlock button so the tail light would light up, and see the bowtie. There it was! Cool. Since the inside of my closed garage door is white, I thought it might project the bowtie onto the wall, like the bat signal. Ah, too bad - the designers stopped short of that.

Yea, its pretty cool.

Our Terrain has GMC in the tails as well.
