Driving 2012 Terrain SLE2 and the volume control on the wheel is really bothering me. If I press it once, there is no change in volume until I have removed my finger from it. If I hear a good song and want to crank it, I press the button many times and there is only small adjustment, again not until I am done pressing. Today I've noticed many times I press the button and there is no change in the volume.
This isn't my first GM with wheel controls so I know they can be WAY more responsive. I'm thinking there should be/could be a firmware update to fix this.
Anyone experienced/ing this?
On another note, I just was wondering if the auto volume is actually working. In all other cars, GM included there is a definite difference as you speed up. I haven't driven the car very much so I'm not positive on this one, but there seems to not bee much increase as I go faster. I still have to turn it up to drown out the wind noise. (I know exactly the response I'll get from that comment). Also I changed it from med to high today and couldn't tell any difference.
