hi to everyone

my problem is this i have a 07 NOX bought it brand new in 07 the other day it passed 80000 and thats when this problem started to occur

the rpms keep going up and down from a 1000 to 500 and when it drops to 500 it seems the truck shuts off but it does'nt if you let go of the gas it will rev up to a 1000 and it will go

the check engine light came on the other day and then when i got home after going to pick up my mom from work it was off now yesterday a few more lights came on the check engine light the service stabilatrak and reduce engine power plus it was doing the RPM thing so i got to the gas station were i was headed literally 5 mins up the road got there turned it off was in the store for about 5 mins came out and all the lights were out after i started it

any suggestions i dont think its something to major i honestly believe it could be some plugs and wires since its never had that done since we had it if somebody could help it be greatly appreciated

The first thing you need to do is pull the codes and see what is happening. A dealer will do it but they will charge you. I believe Auto Zone will hook up a code reader for free and let you know what codes have been set.

Some possibilities are a partially clogged fuel filter, faulty fuel pump, problems with thE ECM etc.. But like Black Granite said, you won't know for sure until you get the code or codes..
