Ok, as you can see in my signature, I have 2013 Equinox with the 2.4L. We all know the problem and I even posted a few YouTube videos about it. Recently I finally put an FC219 oil cap onto it too.

But I have never told anybody I don't know about this, lol. When I realized that the PCV had issues and took the intake apart. You know what? It didn't have am orifice hole. You can see the picture I attached. It really looks like solid plastic and that was even after I used a drill bit to poke it a little bit. I drilled one at the end.

Here's something I don't understand. I check my car all the time. If it really had no hole, I should have realized some PCV issues as soon as I took delivery. It couldn't be 6 years later. But it really didn't and still doesn't look like there's an orifice from GM.

So what do you think?

I wish I took at video or at least better pictures. It might make a really good Youtube video.

It seems obvious where it was, or should have been. Are you sure it is not just clogged ?

I couldn't believe it still up to this day, after 2 years+. I did try poke it with a drill bit but that's all I could go. It really didn't look like clog. It's one complete piece of plastic. I am not surprised gm forgot to drill it but I'm quite surprised I didn't have symptoms much earlier and still couldn't picture all together.

Question .. . do you think you could replace that Youtube video in your signature with just a text LINK rather than that big image .
All you have to do is open the link icon and enter in a text like "Android Auto/Carplay Gen 2 Add" .
Then only the text will be displayed.
EXAMPLE: Android Auto/Carplay Gen 2 Add
It really distracts and makes it difficult to read normal posts between when yours are made and others.
