I have seen some SLEs running around with chrome mirrors, grille and door handles. Is this included with the 18" aluminum wheel upgrade or is this something that was added on as an accessory?

You can't buy the chrome grille (from GMC)
Dang, I wish I would have found this the other day... Any reason? The chrome grill is the only change I wanted to make. I don't care for the overlays...

There is a chrome package available on the SLE's but it does not give the chrome grill. We ordered a hand full of them with it and probably won't again, because for the money it is not worth it. Again, just a matter of opinion.

^ a FACTORY chrome package or just a dealer-cobbled set of installed items? I think there's a difference.

If this was tossed at me, no the factory installed chrome package. It includes chrome door pulls and mirror covers for $200 MSRP. Yes, it is probably more to add these on after the fact through the GM parts department, but I think they coulda thrown out a little more for the consumer in this package (grill and/or rear bumper plate) and charged maybe an extra $100.

Anyways, if the chrome package is ordered on a Terrain it is not installed until it arrives at the dealership. Factory ordered and dealer installed.

Thanks! This is what I was trying to ascertain. I could do without the rear chrome bumper fascia and the chrome mirror covers on my SLT-2 but I love the chrome grille and door handles.

And I'm glad a person can't order all the SLT-2 chrome. It's what sets the top end trim level apart from the rest. Kind of like the Denali trim on other GMCs.
