SD Card Not Valid

Have a new Terrain Denali with non-functional navigation. Took to dealer and they said card needed to "cleaned off". They did and NAV still does not work. Should have confirmed repair before driving 300 miles away. Get this pictured message when I try to run Navigation. "This SD card is not valid in this vehicle for navigation. Please refers to the owner's portal website.... " Car was inherited and has only 2400 miles. Taking to another dealer to service it before selling. Any ideas on what is really wrong. Appreciate any help. I would like to understand issue before seeing 'another' GMC dealer to 'repair'.

Maybe make sure the SD card is formatted for FAT32? If not, may not work with the NAV?

Pop the card into a laptop, right click on it and the look at Properties.

Also, what is stored on the SD card?

It was the write protection tab in wrong location. I reset the tab and reinserted the SD card. System is working. Thanks!

Welcome to the site.
It quit again

The gps system failed when I restarted the engine. Taking to dealer.
From the photo it appears tha tyou have a 2018+ Terrain. The SD card is in the cubby at the bottom of the center stack (below your photo). While it's not necessarily easy to accidentally eject, it can happen if it gets bumped when putting/removing something from the cubby. It's inserted in a narrow slot right above the USB and Aux jack ports.

See if you can simply push the SD card back in. If not, push on it and then release to eject it and then reinsert it.
Did you try what I suggested? Did that not work?

The SD slot is highlighted in the image:
