I "0" all the DIC settings. We went to Indianapolis for the first day, with 2 gas stops, which was a 5 hour drive. We went to the Zoo, then drove to the hotel to check-in, then drove back down town to shop, came back to the hotel and went 20 miles to a casino and back. Then gassed the car that evening. The next morning, was a 2 hour drive to Louisville for 3 day stay and driving all over that city. The Dic after 4 days driving said 23.8 mpg on our V6, AWD with 3 gas gas stops. I reset all the DIC settings to "O" for the drive back home this morning and drove 450 miles straight with 3 gas stops and stretch the legs. The DIC with average mpg read 24.3, when we reached home. We did have a slight tail wind the last 1/3 of the trip coming home, as the windmills out in the country were pointing south and we were traveling north.
I am very happy with OEM Latitude Tour tires as I think they help this vehicle with mpg. Tire pressure cold at 80F was 39lbs when we left for vacation. We had the A/C on 1/2 going down and 1/3 back and cruise set at 72 or 75.
Odometer is at 5500 miles.
On this trip, the engine was not babied and drove and punched as required going into traffic from ramps and around traffic. There was just my wife and I and 3 bags in the rear or 100lbs, I would estimate.
