reset air pressure

I'm at work so I don't have my manual with me (I know I should keep it in the glove box, but I use it more at home then I do in the car). By the way, does anybody keep gloves in the glove box. :D

I just added air to all my tires. When I went to the DIC to reset, it said to press SET/CLR to relearn the pressure. I must be blind because I don't see a SET/CLR button. When I press the check button next to the up/down buttons all that happens is the horn beeps for 3 seconds and says relearning in progress. That's all - nothing else seems to be happening.
What am I doing wrong? I would like to reset it before I drive all the way home.

Try clicking the check-mark button. When I put air in my tires, I never reset it, seems to read the pressure just fine.

That set/clear button resets the computer for the tire location. Any change in pressure would automatically update by the system. The set/clear button makes the car re-learn where the tires are after rotation. The horn beeps to let you know to start letting air out of the left front tire. It will chirp again to let you know to move on to the next tire, the right front. Then the right rear and left rear. Then it will chirp to signal the learning process is complete. Then you have to add the correct pressure back to each tire. The TPMS will always read the current pressure. You might have to drive a little bit for this to work.

What your doing is telling the computer to relearn were each TPMS sensor is, like when you rotate the tires.
When you add air it should show up within a few seconds or when you restart the car, you do not have to clear it.

Looks like rickbb63 was faster then me.
BTW, early 2010 models have a check mark while all others after that have the set/clr on the button. Its the same button and functions the same.
I thought I was losing my mind, I looked all over for a Set/Clr button. Why wouldn't they update the message when they changed the button? Now that I read the manual I see that it calls the check button "Set/Clr" button.

Thanks all.
My mother-in-law has a Terrain that was built two months before ours and it has the check mark. The first time I got in it after driving ours, I was looking to reset the fuel mileage and all that and I did the same. I was like, "Where in the hell did they put the set/clr button?" lol
