That thread goes back to 2011!

Looking up Member = "Chevrolet Customer Svc" shows the "Last Activity" to be July 2019 (later than I would've guessed).

I'd doubt you're going to get a response from them.

I've never done it myself, but I think you can create an account online at Chevrolet.com to get VIN-specific Recall Information (or, at least, ... you should be able to).

Or swing by your local Dealership and have them query their Recall Information Database.
