yea, separate motor i believe....do you hear the motor turn on?
Try holding it a little longer...the fluid has a long way to travel. ;)
The rear runs out first. The front will still work. The rear fluid pickup is placed higher. Try filling reservoir to the top and try again. The purpose of this is so you have reserve fluid left for the front.

Wow - that is an ingenious design. GM was thinking on that one.

Seriously, there are so many things that are so thoughtfully thought out but never mentioned or advertised. They need to find a new marketing guy. No one is gonna make a decision based on this but there could be a section on the sales brochure that lists all the neat things like this.
daysofterrain,

I would like to get more specific information from you regarding this issue. If you could private message me with the make, model, year, and VIN of the vehicle as well as your full name and address for our records, I would be happy to look into this further. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Tricia - it appears that the only "issue" is that he was low on washer fluid - at least the way I read this thread. Certainly not a shortcoming of GM !!!

the GMC guys got it right....i think gm was pushing terrain sales more then the nox...seeing as they both have the the majority of the same features...just the terrain ads mention them alot more....

I know we were not talking about this (we were talking about washer fluid), but I'm not sure it warrants a new thread: has anyone ever seen an Equinox commercial? I've seen the Terrain ones a lot (with all the more features per cubic inch), but I haven't seen any one for the Equinox.

Moderator, feel free to move this. :)
ive seen one.....period ever...not one commercial multiple times...one airing.....

I've seen the stupid "look in the glove box" and "where gummy bears hide" multiple times.
Such a stupiud comercial with potential of being cute - wtf is up with the phone call and "enjoy the trip" fake call, sounds well too scripted.
Also if someone "hides" gummy bears under seat of my Equinox they are gonna be attacked by a real bear! lol

Wait... THAT'S the... Equinox... commercial???? I must have blocked it out of my mind! I think it pursues their stereotypical soccer mom target and alienates everyone else. (edit: OK, sorry. It alienates Me ;-) ) I guess GM would prefer I bought a Terrain. Too late, I love my Equinox!

Seriously. The car is actually too small for soccer mom, the Traverse would be better car for this commercial.
This traverse commercial is cute though, I like it!

Wow!! I've only seen that commercial once. And I really didn't realize it was an Equinox commercial. GM was definitely pushing the Terrain more. I saw 3 or 4 commercials a day for it.

Why spend money on a commercial when the vehicle is selling itself????
I dont remember seeing any commercials for the Equinox - but then again I guess that might be because I usually only watch tv from my dvr :-\ though the way I found out about the Terrain was from a tv commercial
G
I see Equinox commercials all the time but seriously different commercials for different demographics, taylored and going up against different competitors and their vehicles strongest in those markets.

Equinox commercials targetting soccer moms in suburban cities on the east cost and mid west and Terrain commercials for men in the south. Believe me they've got coverage of every GM vehicle for every kind of customer in every region.....you just haven't seen them yet, that's all.
Mine doesn't work either. 2011 LT2. Just bought it a week ago and I thought I was doing something wrong. Pull for front, push for rear is what I am doing. When I push for rear the wiper comes on but no wiper fluid comes out. I added fluid to make sure it wasn't a low level but still does not work. hmmm.
The GMC division of GM is smaller than Chevy, and they don't have cars to help the sales. That may account for the stronger 'push' for Terrain. It's the smallest and 'cheapest' GMC, and most, dare I say, car like.
