Does anyone have the rear video Part numbers for the monitor units, remote control, screws, and headphones?

Also, does anyone know if the wiring is in place? I have the factory Nav with the DVD player in dash and leather seats. I have the part of the seat that looks to be held on with Velcro and I guess i could look but im too lazy.

I doubt if anyone here knows the part numbers from memory, so you can do some looking up in GMPartsDirect.com - I am sure you can find them out there, along with the prices.

I wanted the part numbers to use on gmpartsdirect because last I checked you cant search a part by its name or description. They arent available as kit or accessory. The dealership looked it up for me but I forgot to get the part numbers. I can always call a dealer but I thought maybe there were some people here who worked at a dealership and they could look it up at work.

Yes you can - if you click on the Chevy/GMC emblem to the right of the initial screen, then you can search on all of the parts, by name, for your specific vehicle.

Assuming the harness is in the seat and in the body to the radio (probably not) the monitor assemblies are 25982670 and 25982671. This will also require reprogramming the radio as well.

Thank you for the part numbers.

What needs to be reprogrammed in the radio? Something I can do or does the dealer need to do it? Why do you assume the wires are not run? It was my understanding that the rear video was a dealer installed part. When I had the parts department search the parts they didnt find a part number for the wires.

Dealer needs to program it. I assume the wiring isnt there because thats how GM saves a few $ a car, if the car doesnt have the options it doesnt have the harness IE no fog lights no fog light harness no remote start IE base model no hood switch or harness its just SOP.

Im not 100% confident but I believe I saw the wires there. The harness for the seat had lots of wires, one bundle on which went up to the back portion of the seat. I didnt take off the plastic cover (couldnt see well enough to do it without breaking) but I dont know why both front seats would have a bundle of wires going up the back. Of course there would a bigger bundle ont he DS as it has power and the heater, but the PS has the heater wires and then there was that bundle that I couldnt see where it went exactly but it went "up".

I do understand the economics behind not installing a separate wire harness into all models when most dont get rear seat video. I mean even if it only costs $3 for the harness, multiplying that by 50k cars thats a lot of money. I wonder if maybe the leather seats came equipped, or leather seats with heaters came with it, or something like that.

The harness going up the back is more than likely for the heater and side air bags although if you take that cover off and see a connector thats not plugged in you should be golden, now if the body harness goes from the radio to the seats without RSE i have no idea but at least the seat part is taken care of.

gotcha, yea it could have been for the air bag. I didnt think the heater did the back too, at least I dont feel it on my back, but I could be wrong.

So what needs to be programmed on the radio? I would expect it to be a handshake kind of system where it activates it when its plugged in. You seem to know your stuff about this car so this is why I am picking your brain.

The configuration to enable them is in the radio so it needs to be updated for them to operate (properly).
