Rear air vents and gas tank-an issue??

I'm considering a Terrain, but would like to know if anyone feels the lack of air vents in the rear and the gas tank being on the right side is an issue. The lack of vents almost seems like a deal breaker to me. I've got two teenagers that would have to sit back there and that's their biggest pet-peeve.

You will get used to the right gas tank filler...

And yes there are rear vents, they are under the front seats.

OHHH! thanks for the info! Not sure why no one has mentioned that to me thus far! I was terribly worried about the vent thing. It's hotter than hell where I live and I don't think my kids would appreciate having a heat stroke in the back.

I understand why you were concerned about the rear vents. My daughter is used to having the rear vent between the seats in my wife's current RX330 (soon to be traded in for the Terrain) and she loves it. My Escape doesn't have it, but it does have the vents under the seats like the Terrain but they don't provide as much air as the center air vent. My daughter got used to it in my CUV, but every now and then she'll mention that she's hot in the back seat and misses the center vent.

Regarding the gas filler, I wish it were on the left side like my Escape just so both our vehicles had them on the same side.
As already mentioned, there are ducts beneath the seats...not quite the same as having directional vents higher up, but the Nox/Terrain cabin isn't as large as a full size suv so it isn't an issue. As far as the gas filler on the passenger side...it takes some getting used to, but it's no big deal.
I really like the right side fuel door.
The gas station I have a membership with only has 4 pumps and is on the northbound side of a divided roadway. As such, traffic really only feeds in one direction up to the pumps and the right hand lanes are often lined up 2-3 cars deep while the left hand lanes will be unused or only have one vehicle at them.
Thanks for the replies. That certainly lessens my concerns!

Now that you mentioned that....I haven't had to wait for a pump at my favorite station since I got my Nox. 8) The pumps are situated near the main road in such a way that there isn't much room to turn around if all the pumps are full...I simply drive up the "wrong way" and start pumping while cars are 2-3 deep at all the other pumps. :D
No rear vents -Wish I had known

I have a 2017 Equinox. I purchased it about a month ago. Had I known (and this is my fault for not doing my research), that this car did not have rear vents, I would not have bought it. I have two teenage granddaughters, and I took them shopping. They were miserable in the back seat. They would lean forward as much as possible to get some cool air. Why would Chevrolet build a car without air vents for all passengers? I am wondering if I can have rear vents added.
