I noticed after recently having to use my all-wheel drive when I shift it back to front wheel drive I now get a low rumble/growling noise from what sounds like the rear almost sounds like rear right but if I put it into all-wheel drive it stops immediately. I have just barely over 5,000 miles on it and it is still under warranty so I plan on contacting the dealer to have them look at it but my question is why would it do that after using all-wheel drive and clear every time you put it into all-wheel drive?

It almost sounds like turning off the all-wheel drive is only partially disengaging the rear axle. Then when you put it back in to all-wheel drive it fully engages and the noise stops.
