As usual rbarrios is spot on.
Whatever grade of gas you decide to use is your call.
I use Shell 91 in my 3.6L and 89 in the wife's 1.4L turbo in her Encore.
Never had a knock and good get up and go.
Cheers

Always use 93. Keeps the engine cleaner especially if you don’t change your oil on time like you should.

Good info, there is more to the higher grades than just octane.
93 octane is hard to find on the west coast.

If using top tier fuels, this is not a true statement. If using random station fuels...there may be something to it depending on their additive packages. I haven't been able to prove any performance or MPG gains on our '15 3.6 AWD between 87 E10 or 91 E0 fuels.

I guess it will tell you what fuel to use or recommend in the owners manual ....I always used super in my Corvettes, and in my 2020 GMC Terrain Denali 2.0 Turbo it recommends super so that's what I use 98% of the time.
