after a long-running debacle with carid.com (ordered December 31st, showed up February 9th), the grille is on. i'll share a few pictures of the install :)

Getting started:

Top of bumper completely undone:

Couldn't really access the clips on the lower part of the grille so I had to pull the bumper off:

Bumper pulled with grille off:

Grille alone before dremeling the hell out of it:

This is the point where I got into the "i'm gonna get this thing done TONIGHT" mode and stopped taking pictures until it was completely put back together:

All in all, the fit is very nice, the top billet protrudes from the hood a little bit but it's not really noticeable unless you're standing over the front of the truck.

I had a few mis-cues and actually broke the upper black surround part of the oem grille that screws back into the engine bay...when you cut it to house the new billet grille there's very little left as far as plastic and it's very thin in places...i was a little rough with mine and it showed me who was boss.

I'm pleased with the mod but I wouldn't suggest it unless you are ok with tearing things apart and destroying oem parts :)

That is awesome, thanks for sharing Jeremiah!

BTW, what did you have to "dremel the hell out of" on the original grill and why, or am I misunderstanding (probably the case)?
Basically the only thing LEFT from the oem is the chrome surround and the part that mounts to the engine bay up top.

So imagine looking head on at the stock grille. Now run a dremel around the whole outer part, only keeping the chrome.

Hope you get what I'm trying to say lol
That looks pretty slick and certainly gives the Terrain a customized look! Having said that, personally I would find a way to re-attach the GMC logo as a way to break up the endless sea of chrome. The billet grill for the Nox doesn't have this problem since it is broken up by the body color bar in the middle..

Nice job! It has that shaved custom car show look to it. How hard was it to remove the front facia?

It took a lot of head scratching to get it off. I know I didn't do I right lol. I couldnt figure out how to get the tab next to the headlight and fender seam undone so I just broke it. I searched on here briefly for a how to bu couldn't find anything and the directions with the grille just said "remove facia" as step one lol

Lol I would never want to take a dremel to someone else's car. I had a sick to my stomach "no turning back" feeling after the dremel took out the first section of plastic from the grille. But it turned out ok in the end :)

If I wanted the gmc logo I would have just bought billet overlays off eBay ;)

If I think of something cool to mount on there I will but it won't be a big honkin gmc logo again :)
