So here I am sitting in Chicago watching the snow fly and it got me thinking. Anyone here have a plow on their Terrain? Could it handle a plow with the I4? Anyone with any pics?

not stong enough an engine.....needs way more torque on the low end to push that snow...

Not to mention the unibody would seriously be stressed by that much weight on the front end. Pass.

To plow snow, you need a vehicle with a FRAME. A uni-body just doesn't have the strength to handle the load of heavy snow.

For all the problems one may cause to the vehicle, your better off paying the kid down the street to plow your drive Replaced too many cv joints on 4x4's because of plowing would hate to think what would happen to the Nox/Terrain with a plow on the front..

1. No where to mount a plow without some kind of custom fab work.
2. Not nearly enough power. A V6 would be underpowered.
3. It would be extremely hard on the entire vehicle.

With all the snow Chicago got looks like he won't have to lower it to plow...
Amen... It took me 3 hours to dig out!
