In an effort to make the growing number of threads easier to find and navigate in the future, please make sure to post your new topics to the the relevant board whenever possible. This "General Tech Section" should only be used for DIY projects or when your technical question doesn't fit into one of the more specific boards below.

Following this rule will make it easier for both you and others to find your topic and other topics in the same category. It should get questions answered more quickly and also help cut down on duplicate posts asking the same question. And as always, be sure to use the SEARCH box at the top of the screen before posting your thread. Your question may have been answered before!

Thanks!

So you've moved the sub-boards out from under General Tech. Good idea, I like that. Thumbs up!
Yeah, I think it's a good idea to minimize the categories when a forum is new and fairly small. Once those boards get some content, promoting them to full categories makes it MUCH easier to find and since they now have enough content to stand on their own, it doesn't turn new users off to an giant empty forum :)
I do like the new layout...everything is much easier to find.
Since joining early this month from the Acadia board, to change the layout to black and white, has been most helpful to my eyes since I am color blind. As pointed out, the SEARCH should be used first, before starting a new topic. It is nice to read many helpful people on this forum too. Opinions are always respected.
