outside air temperature sensor location

Does anybody know where the outside air temp sensor is on a 2006 Equinox? Can it be changed easily? Mine reads too high and sometimes goes crazy, reading as high as 137 F. Driving at highway speeds doesn't always bring it down. Actual temp is more like 92 F.

My Dealer claims this sensor has no effect on the engine, and that Chevrolet claims that it is notoriously inaccurate, so he wouldn't change it under my warranty.
Mine run's high too. It is on my list to have looked at by dealer when I go in for first oil change.

I have found my outside temperture sensor to be surprisingly accurate..at least matching digital bank signs and such +/- a degree or so. I've also found it to be more accurate than any other car I've owned with the outside sensor. The dealer is correct in that it has no effect on the engine....did you think that it would for some reason? ???
Where is the Air Temperature Sensor located on 2004 Cadi SRX?
