After looking at a lot of 2010 vehicles, I ordered a Merlot/Titanium SLT-1 w/navi. Delivery expected in late January. To me, this was a no brainer. I live in FLA, so no hills for the I4 to conquer and 32 MPG for this kind of vehicle is awesome. I drove both the v6 and I4 versions and saw little reason for the 6. Other vehicle is a 2009 BMW 5 Series, so I can go drain gas with that when I get the urge. The Terrain will get me to work in style and comfort. The feature list is beyond comparison with other vehicles I drove and I am an extremely picky person when it comes to my vehicles. GM has a real winner here. Chose the Terrain over the Nox for the edgy looks that suit my style. Can't wait!

Well, no one seems to want to help me get this thing delivered. GM Canada won't return my calls anymore and my dealer won't contact his regional manager or anything. Very poor customer service. I think my dealership is still within the range where the vehicles are shipped by truck. I imagine most vehicles are shipped via rail.Islander said:
If it's not delivered by the time I go on holidays in a little more than a week, GM can keep it and I will never set foot in a GM dealership ever again. I'm over mileage on my leased Sierra so I am essentially tossing quarters out the window every kilometer I drive.

Wow, this would be really frustrating! I didn't realize I was lucky.
Mine was built on the 5th of November and arrived at the dealership in Ohio on the 10th.
I can't imagine why it is taking so long to get it transported. You would think that GM would want to get it to you so they can have your $.

Hey TopRowSeat... our Terrains were built the same day!
My Terrain did arrive on the 1st of December and I picked it up yesterday afternoon. So just over three weeks to deliver.
But that ordeal is over now and I am able to enjoy my new vehicle. Very impressed with it.
I think I witnessed a bug this morning, though. I remote started it and when I got in, the camera screen lit up. When I put the key in the screen went out. Maybe you can try to replicate that same situation?

It looks like they can't keep any inventory on GMC dealer lots. I had to go 40 miles to see one as the 2 closer dealers never had one to even look at. Seems like all available are either base models with no options or loaded to the gills and 36K stickers!!

I had only ever seen the color in pictures and couldn't find a 4-cyl to drive before I ordered. I could find sixes to drive but the fours were all customer orders or gone before I could get to them. I trusted the reviewers who said that the differences between the two engines was minimal and went ahead with the 4.
So far I'm happy with my purchase. Don't think I would change a thing.

I think I remember seeing that too but I tested just now and the backup cam was not on at all when I remote started and then got in and turned the key. I wonder if it's a nighttime thing? I will pay attention again tonight and see if the cam comes on after dark.Terrain said:

Yes, cam comes on at night but doesn't during the day.

Looks like you and my wife have similar tastes. There were no Merlot Jewel Terrains within 600 miles. We ordered ours with Navi and the power liftgate. We didn't see the need for the V6 after test driving them back to back.Islander said:

I also ordered a Terrain..I am outside Orlando Florida..I special ordered cause I wanted OnynxBlack,with JetBlack Interior..I also was told late January..I bought a V6 cause we are trying to get back to NYS where there are alot of hills etc..I bought the Nav system..Sunroof..18inch wheels..I am excited and hope I wont be disappointed..I had a Rav4 Limited for 3 years and wanted to Upgrade alittle..A late Xmas present...Thanks
