Went in to seal the deal today. I actually decided on the black exterior, instead of the black graphite. The metallic is beautiful.....tough decision, but I really like the look of the darker black. Wish they made a dark black, with a little sparkle. Oh well!!

Anyway, I ordered a V-6, 2 LT with all the goodies, sunroof, electric lift for tailgate, etc. My question is.......what is the expected time for this car to be here? They told me it could take 2-3 months. Maybe by then we will of had our cold snowy Illinois winters.

Call back quick, you can probably make changes to the order for the first week.
I'm confused. I am ordering the car that I wanted. Why would I call and change things. I was merely asking how long do you think it will take, to get here, once they order the car??? Sorry for any confusion. :)
Thanks!!!!

Hmm maybe I was tired when I read it - I thought you had a second thought on the color...sorry for the confusion, my mistake.
I had one dealer tell me they come in 4 to 6 weeks, another said 6 to 12. Don't forget GM shuts down I think for 2 weeks around the holidays.
Short holiday period for GM workers this year. Friday before Christmas, week of December 27th to 31st and Monday Jan 3rd. Less than two weeks. Your wait will be extended by this amount of days if built after this time. I ordered my Nox last January when capacity was lower and mine took 13 weeks.

Any Ingersol workers on this forum know if they are working the holiday period?
I talked to a dealer Sat. about ordering one he said the last one he ordered took exactly 1 month to the day. But that was not the norm. Plan on 12 weeks and if it comes sooner you won't be disappointed.
I dont get it. I tried to order the vehicle I wanted and my dealer refused. Instead he found another dealership that has what i wanted and it took 2 days. Are the options that you want that rare or is the inventory in your area that low?

Depending on what you want and where you are it can be hard to find your car. I wanted a FWD 4 cylinder 1LT Equinox in red, with driver convenience package and cargo package. The closest match was over 100 miles away and I wasn't interested in having it driven to my dealer. I could have ordered one but didn't want to wait 8-12 weeks. So I went for the same car in blue.
I order my Terrain on Oct 20, it was built Nov 17 (note they had a hold on it for 1 week that I know of) and it's ready to be shipped.
I am hopping for 2nd week in Dec at the latest.
