Hey guys, we ordered our 2011 Terrain this afternoon. We went with the SLT-1, 4 cylinder, FWD. The color is Mocha Steel with Brownstone interior and here are the options:

NAV
Power Liftgate
Rear DVD Entertainment System

Expected delivery is early October.

This is my wife's car but we're both pretty excited about it. And my daugher's really excited about the rear DVD System (last minute decision).

Congrats:

I ordered in late July with a mid-September delivery date for a SLT-2 with Nav, RSE and tow package.

My wife pushed heavily for the RSE (twin DVD system) as well. I have a 9 and 12 year old. Hopefully the systems will make family road trips more tolerable for the kids. I'm thinking of getting an old Nintendo Gamecube system to hook up to the DVD system via the RCA plugs in the back.

My dealer and I agreed to a formula on pricing (X amount over invoice) back in late July before pricing on 2011 models was available. Since you visited the dealer today, was he/she able to give you the 2011 pricing?
texlaker,

That's a cool idea for using the inputs on the seat backs.

The dealer still didn't have 2011 pricing. We've roughly based the deal on 2010 prices, which he thought they may not even go up but didn't know for sure.
Good for you, I guarantee you will not regret your decision to order this fine SUV.
Did you ask if your dealer has allocation to order your terrain? I ordered mine on the 21st of July and I am stuck in 1100 status. I take it I got lied to. Just make sure they have allocation and make them prove it. Otherwise you will be waiting as long time like I will be. I guess I can kiss my deposit bye bye when my lease is up and no vehicle. I will buy a non-GM product and never come back. What a messed up ordering system. You would think paying customers would get put first in line since the vehicle has been sold already.
Good luck and keep us posted.

Sorry to learn about your situation. My dealer told us repeatedly that they had allocation (less than 10). Only time will tell how our order works out. We're not in a hurry for our Terrain but hope that it arrives by early to mid October. My dealer said that would not take an order for a Terrain without having allocation.
