Welcome. I say your post on the Acadia forum. I am a former Acadia owner as well. Enjoy and keep us posted on how you like your Terrain.

Congratulations and welcome to the forum.

What color interior? 4 or 6? FWD or AWD? Options?
We got the black interior, 6 cyl. FWD. No real need for AWD. It had way more options than we really wanted but we really liked the look. So far no complaints. Some dip backed into it the other night and put some scratch's on the rear bumper area. Luckily no dents or major damage. I spent awhile buffing them out. A couple small scratch's to deep to come out completely, but looks pretty good again.

JLF: Did you upgrade to the 19' chrome wheels or are those the standard wheels that come on the SLT2?

Nice running boards. I plan on getting these and glad to see a pic that shows how awesome they will look on my black onyx.

Did you install the running boards yourself? I've received two qoutes of ~ $350 to install. That's double the price I paid for the boards. One shop said they would have to dill holes even though the kit says it's a no drill set.

Had a buddy help me out - but I was only getting quotes for less than $200.

Keep in mind though - some running boards/nerf bars are harder to install than others, so depending on what you got, it may be a little more time consuming than others.

Mine specifically was a cheaper brand and didn't "bolt in" as expected. Had to do a little finessing with the hardware.

My '11 SLT2. I've purchased chrome running boards and chrome door side moulding trim. Will post pics when installed.
