A friend of mine (Bill) over at CheersandGears.com caught these two Terrains - Atlantic Blue Metallic and Quicksilver Metallic - in the 'wild' in the Lancaster, PA area. The Quicksilver Metallic is a basy SLE-1 4cyl FWD model (look, those are the standard 17" rims on it too). I test drove a SLE-2 4cyl AWD in Atlantic Blue Metallic at my local southern NJ dealership, but forgot to bring the camera with me that day.

I thought I'd share my friend's finding with everyone here.

Re: Official ATLANTIC BLUE METALLIC picture thread

I'm waiting to see one in white in person. It seems that GMC dealers in central and southern NJ are only ordering black, mocha steel, and gold - the red ones seem to sell too quickly if one hits the lot. I am mostly interested in the Merlot Metallic (red), but have always liked GMCs in white too. I was hoping for a nice dark <navy> blue, but not for 2010. The Atlantic Blue, as pictured above, seems to be a carry-over from the Pontiac Torrent (maybe not exactly the same, but close enough).

I've seen a blue one in person and it was a nice color (although I agree with you, it should have gotten the Lambas' dark blue color as well). It looked a bit darker than that cobalt/electric blue from the Pontiacs to me.

Looks great! You guys are lucky you don't require front license plates. Mine hasn't been that clean since I drove it off the lot, and likely won't be until next April. Congratulations!

sweet, looks great in the sunshine and probably looks black as coal at night!
I had a "midnight blue" chevy once, probably a shade darker, loved that color.
atlantic blue kinda reminds me of it.
congrats and thanks for posting up the pics, please post more if/when you have a chance!
