My 2012 Equinox came with 17" Michelin tires having a treadwear rating of 720. I've never seen a value that high. I hope that they are sticky enough to provide decent traction.

I sure hope so, because they will "never" wear out, so we'll have them till we die !!!

Actually, I use snows, and haven't given the All Seasons a chance in the snow, but those that have, are very pleased. Enjoy the ride...

These are very good tires. In fact, I'm surprised GM put them on these cars. You will be very happy with them.
Same here, I was pleased to find high quality and relatively expensive tires on my 2LT...but was also surprised that they came standard on the base model. GM is large enough to get the best wholesale bulk price from tire makers so there is no good reason for them to use cheap oems..

I agree, but, my wife had a CR-V before this car and the tires were shot in 15,000 Miles. Those were some craptastic Bridgstones'.

I too was pleased when I saw the tires our Nox came with :)
I wasnt...Hankook is a horrible tire, especially the Optimo 725 or w/e it was

Take the wear rating w/ a grain of salt...Its like expecting to get the epa 32mpg! 720 just means it wore out 7.2 times slower then the test tire over the course of its limited use in testing.

I don't know much about Michelin tires because I've never had them on a vehicle before, but according to my local tire guy, the Michelin tires that came on my 2011 are pretty much their top of the line suv tire.
