For some reason lately I can not get any sound to play out of the speakers when the IPOD is plugged in. I can easily see the song tracks, change the tracks, do all of the other functions but no volume plays. I have one of those navaigational systems in my Equinox so i can even see the indicator at the bottom showing how much time has played in the song but no sound- I have tried unplugging and replugging the IPOD, powered down the IPOD, tried everything I can think of. The sound on the IPOD works fine I even checked that.

Did you ever get the problem fixed? Mine is doing the same thing and you can see that it is trying to play, but it seems paused, like I was on onstar or something.
