Got the rust that was starting on the inside bottom of the doors sanded and primer on now. Waiting to do the paint. Just wanted to get it stopped for now anyway.

If you really want to stop it. . open up the inner door panels and do a light spray down with something like Fluid Film or Rust-o-leum Rust Inhibitor. Make sure to direct a spray into the corners of each door panel cavity at the bottoms.
That will flow down into the smallest crevices and prevent water to get in again.

There was an extended warranty on lower door rust, but seemed to only cover Canadian vehicles. Possibly is is now extended to USA vehicled.
