New system update 85876837 installed by dealership. What is it?

Yesterday I had my 2025 terrain in for service to diagnose the onstar not working and while there they installed a new system update, 85876837.mnf

I can’t find any info on what that update does and when you click on it in the system it shows me nothing.

anyone have any idea what it is?

GL finding out. Best chance is ask the dealer who installed it.

My 2019 had a number of updates in the first year - no documentation as to what any of them were. You will just have to trust that it's in your best interest to have them.

I have the same problem with smart TV updates.

My '23 Silverado has a update info button that somewhat describes the updates. I just got one this week for Onstar and other functions.
Look in the system screens, scroll around.

Doing an internet search for "n25-f172ae update" indicates that the update improves the overall software update and diagnostics process. So, the update process had an anomaly that is corrected by this update.
