Thanks for lookin out. Where did you first see this info? Thanks again.
Reading that, it appears to be something that was broken while fixing something else. This is why you shouldn't demand ECM/BCM updates unless you have a real issue or there is an actual recall that affects all vehicles of a certain vin#. Just like computer software/firmware on your pc, "updates" can sometimes break more than they fix.GARYD said:I thought it was suppose to be the other way around. Newer model are suppose to have glitches fixed from previous vehicles. Seems more problems are croping up on the 2011's then on the 2010's. ;D
I know of at least three bulletins on engine rattles. What year is yours and when does the rattle occur?Phantm006 said:To bad there's no Bulletin on the Engine mystery rattle yet. I know I'm not the only person with it.
Can "common folks" get access to these bulletins for free, or do we have to subscribe to a service ?ChevyMgr said:I know of at least three bulletins on engine rattles. What year is yours and when does the rattle occur?
2010. And between 1500-2000 rpm. It used to be you could only hear it at that rpm at around 40 mph. Now it doesn't matter the speed. As long as it's 1500-2000 rpm you can hear it. It started quiet and has gotten louder recently. Now my front suspension is creaking and my lumbar bolt popped. Really starting to get annoyed.ChevyMgr said:I know of at least three bulletins on engine rattles. What year is yours and when does the rattle occur?
