Hi -

Just purchased a '10 Equinox LTZ a couple days ago. I'm very happy with it so far.

There are a few bubbles on the navigation screen which look like they're under a protective film. Did you guys notice a film on yours? I tried finding an edge to pull on, but was unsuccessful. I'm not sure if it is meant to come off.

Thanks for the help,

Steve O

Pull off the film. This plastic film is there only to protect the screen during the build of the car and shipping. Leaving it on can cause the display to overheat and cause much worse problems.

Reminds me of one of my pet peeves. I have so many I am thinking of writing a book
People with table lamps switched on, with the plastic wrap still covering the shades!
Wonder how many fires were started that way?
