Does the terrain use a nav cd?? does it eject behind the lcd screen like my trucks nav?? And does it come with one when you purchase the

I believe the nav is hard drive based, so information from the CD is uploaded to the hard disk. There is only one optical drive in these vehicles.

No - its uploaded prior to purchase from factory or at the dealership (depending on the circumstance) with a CD as Terrain has mentioned - map version should be at least 20.09.03 - you can access this info by scrolling through your SAT/NAV menus.
You can purchase upgraded maps when they are made available as years pass by to keep your Navi up to date. [/color]
