Name Your Favorite Feature

I'm getting more and more anxious as my Terrain is in transit to the dealership.

Until it arrives, I need to pass the time!

I want to hear your favorite feature in your Terrain. Just one, only one!

For me (based on the test drives), it's got to be the legroom in the driver side. I'm 6'6" and have been cramped in a Tonka truck for 6 years. When I sat in the Terrain and moved the seat all the way back and down, I could barely reach the steering wheel and pedals!

Let's hear yours....

For my job as an outside sales engineer. I go in and out of the cargo area multiple times/days for literature, product demos and equipment. I love my power liftgate and will never buy a vehicle again unless it has it. It would be a deal breaker on future vehicles if it didn't.
I think I would choose styling as my Terrain's best feature. It's the reason we were first attracted to the Terrain. It's unusual and definitely polarizing, but we love it!
Same for me, I'm 6'3 but I have long inseams so it was impossible to find a car that I can fit in comfortably until I sat in an Equinox. Sold.
For me it's hard to choose just one, but I would have to say the gas mileage I get for a vehicle that isn't exactly a small economy car....and it does it without feeling underpowered. For passengers, everyone always comments on the nice amount of legroom in the back, and it truly is the first vehicle I've owned that didn't require scooting up the front seats when tall people ride in the back. Of course my wife has different priorities, and she would say that having lighted vanity mirrors on both the passenger and drivers side are huge plusses...and that's a feature I didin't even notice until a couple weeks after I brought it home. :D
It's too hard to come up with just one....so....heated mirrors & seats, memory driver's seat, 10GB hard drive for music, & the power liftgate.

There is no 10GB HDD, only 2GB MEM or 40GB HDD that comes with NAV.

It's 30GB for the Nav, and 10GB for the music. ;)
.....My favorite feature is the storage compartment that won't hold a standard bottle of windshield washer fluid.

HA!!! Is that thread still going??
its locked now.

My favorite feature is also my biggest gripe. I love the fact that you can toss a bunch of music on thumb drives and just plug them in and the Stereo reads it and plays them, sorts them. Its awesome i love it, no more CD's rattling around (although you could put a big darn cd organizer in the console if needed)

BUT

1 - location of that jack while conveniently hidden is in the absolutely WORST possible location. it should be on the left side of that compartment. Maybe its just me but i don't bend that way to put it in the right hand side without literally getting out of the vehicle and leaning in. But like i just said maybe its me.

and 2 - the fact that every time you turn the Terrain off even though it resumes playback on the same song in the same spot it doesn't retain the play-list selection, and defaults to alphabetical playback.
Voice commands[/color] to select Audio/Video inputs or particular Radio/Satellite frequencies/channels, dial phone numbers and show NAV destinations, hands free!
Spectacular, IMO!
My favorite feature is the TERRAIN itself. Way too many great features to pick just one!!! Sorry.
I guess it has to be that GM was able to prove to the World, that "I'm back and better than ever". - Quote from Fast Eddie Felson - Color of Money.
Hands-Free device management and the Remote Start. Can't wait for those cold Michigan days when I can sit in my office and start'r up before I leave :)

I have...since that last windshield washer discussion I promised to be good for at least the next little while and will hold true to my word....You can even reply with something nasty to test me if you like. :-X

Another feature I like with this vehicle is how you can customize a lot of things on the radio and also the amount of information on the DIC. They should have more firmware updates to allow even more customizations of features.
My fav feature would be the DVD entertainment system as well as the sat nav system. I know that i was to choose just one but i had to name both. As we have a 5yr old the DVD entertainment system is a parents godsend. It make trips so wonderfully amazing. No hearing "are we there yet?" about a couple milion times for a long trip. Lol. The sat nav system is pretty amazing too. I like not having the Garmin in the front windshield. To me that is just an invite for "steal me,please". They are many more features that i love but since i'm restricted to only naming one there they are... :)

Cheers
Adjustable rear seat has been the best so far along with the ipod interface and bluetooth/voice dialing. Worth the (steep) price of admission!!
